About Nick Ziebell:

Hey, my name’s Nick, and I’m a personal trainer with Success Fitness and Training.

My interest towards the field of fitness began at a very young age. Similar to many, I was an athlete, aspiring to compete at the highest level and I knew that the best way to get that “competitive edge” would be to prepare accordingly.

As I progressed, I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to play college football, but my career was cut short due to a knee injury.

Thus began my interest in preparatory and rehabilitative medicine. I attended Concordia University in Saint Paul and majored in both biology and chemistry. Through the process, I began to challenge myself to consider not only what I am physically doing at the gym, but what biochemical processes I am triggering through exercise and general movement.

I am a firm believer that if one is able to understand the “why” then they will have an easier path towards maintaining their healthy habits and achieving their wellness goals.

As a personal trainer, I abide by three core principles that define my approach: inclusivity, community, and collaboration.

Inclusivity

I am proud to say my intrinsic passion stems from a desire to achieve holistic wellness for everybody including, but not limited to, underserved populations (such as those living with disabilities, mental health diagnoses, or substance abuse disorders).

Having had long tenured positions serving these underrepresented populations has drawn attention to the lack of resources our system is able to provide. I strive to use my platform to progress these outcomes in a positive direction.

Community

Research suggests that a sense of belonging increases motivation in both individual and group settings. Success Fitness and Training provides an environment which will offer support towards your own individual goals and those within the community around you.

Collaboration

Whether you are a fitness expert or about to enter the gym for the first time, I will always value a collaborative approach towards your goals. If something is not working for you, we will discuss ways to improve. Having control and an understanding of your process will only foster continual growth.

This expectation extends to my fellow trainers and I. At Success Fitness and Training, we are always striving to provide the best service to our clients, and if another trainer has a domain of expertise that I do not, you bet I will be tapping them on the shoulder for advice.

I’m beyond excited to be part of your journey, and I can’t wait to meet you when you walk through our doors.
